Christelle Naim – RIP
At the beginning of the week we received the sad news that one of our parishioners, Christelle Naim, had passed away. There will be a Funeral Mass for her here at St Mary’s on Monday 17th July at 11 am, then on to Marylebone Crematorium at 12 noon. May she rest in peace.
Second Collection for Peter’s Pence – The amount collected was £475.34. Many thanks.
Inclusive Mass and St Mary’s Got Talent – Thank You
Many thanks to all children and young people who were involved in our inclusive Mass and talent show last Sunday! You read, prayed and sang beautifully. Congratulations to Erin and Evie O’Gorman, Niamh Mooney, Benedict Lipner, Michael Horby and Milly and Nathan Etwi-Yeboah for winning vouchers in our big prize draw. Last but not least a big thank you to everyone who took part in our St Mary’s Quizzes.
Young People’s Summer Outing

Ramp and lawn
The new ramp is now open! It provides smooth and easy access to the main door of the parish centre. However, until railings are installed we still need to ask children not to play on the lawn. We ask for and very much appreciate parents’ cooperation in this matter. Many thanks.
Prison volunteers sought
Pact, the Catholic charity for prisoners and their families (www.prisonadvice.org.uk) is offering free training and support for parishioners interested in volunteering with them in prisons or in the local community. All inquiries welcome. To find out more contact ParishAction@prisonadvice.org.uk

The group meets in Nazareth House, 162 East End Road, every Tuesday morning at 10.30 am – after the 10 am Mass.
Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes – Volunteers required
The Diocesan Pilgrimage is once again looking to recruit volunteers to help on this summer’s pilgrimage. If you are over 18, your help would be very much appreciated as a St Frai Helper. The role is to support the nurses and provide the sort of care for which you don’t need a medical qualification. You must be fit, able and keen to help. The dates of the pilgrimage are departure on Sunday 23rd July and return on Saturday 29th July. The Passage Garden Party – Friday 21st July 2017
There will be a Garden Party in aid of The Passage in the historic College Garden, Westminster Abbey on Friday 21st July 2017 from 6 pm. Visit the oldest cultivated garden in England with a back drop of the Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. Marriage Care volunteers needed
Marriage Care is a Catholic organisation providing marriage preparation and relationship counselling services through 50 centres across England and Wales. Our centre for Barnet and Enfield needs Marriage Preparation Course Facilitators to present and facilitate marriage preparation courses to small groups of engaged couples (training is provided) and an Administrator to help with the smooth running of the centres services. We are also in need of qualified Relationship Counsellors to deliver relationship counselling.
