First Holy Communion
Congratulations to all children who made their first communions last Sunday. Today they are at the 10 for thanksgiving and there will be a special reception afterwards in the parish centre. All are welcome. Our thanks to Holly Graham ably assisted by Rita Abboud for smooth running of the two Masses, also to Liz Menezes and her team for the music.
Tuesday 21st May we have the funeral of Suresh Satkunarajan at 10 am. He had been living in Dubai but was from this area and his mother is a parishioner.
Tuesday 28th May we have the funeral of Anna Maria Marcantuono also at 10 am.
May they rest in peace.
Collection for the Priest Training Fund
The annual collection for the Priest Training Fund will take place next weekend. This fund pays for the formation of men for the priesthood. There are currently 45 men studying at Allen Hall the diocesan seminary in Chelsea, of whom 27 are for our own diocese of Westminster. Your generous donation helps our diocesan seminarians in their studies. It provides books for the library, teachers and lecturers, accommodation and a chapel where the daily rhythm of Mass and prayer is central to their lives. Envelopes/leaflets are available by the church door. Please bring one back next weekend with your donation. If you can gift aid your offering, it adds to your giving.
Rosary Devotion to Our Lady for the Month of May
You are welcome to join the Legion of Mary as outlined below.
