Marietta ‘Mimi’ Godi RIP: Marietta Godi, known to St Mary’s as ‘Mimi’ passed away on 20th October. Her funeral was celebrated at St Mary’s on 29th October. May she rest in peace

Staying warm in church As the cold weather approaches, please remember to wrap up warm when coming to Mass. We must keep the doors and windows open for ventilation due to COVID-19 and, whilst we can have the heating on before, we need to turn it off during Mass to comply with Diocesan advice.

Sick and Retired Priests Collection – Next Weekend Next weekend is the annual collection for sick and retired priests in the Diocese of Westminster. By giving to the Sick & Retired Priests’ Fund, you can ensure our priests are cared for. You can take a donation envelope as you leave Church today, but the envelopes and posters feature a ‘QR Code’ that you can scan with a phone camera to give online, reducing the risks to everyone of handling cash or touching the envelopes. Please continue to pray for all our clergy: active, retired or ill. Thank you.

Father Peter Fr Terry will continue supplying sacramental services at St Mary’s for a little longer while Fr Peter completes his slow but steady recovery. Father Peter thanks everyone for their continued prayers.

First Holy Communions 2021: Registration is currently open for anyone in Year 3 or above who would like to prepare to make their First Holy Communion in May 2021. Please email Holly for a registration form finchleyeastcat@rcdow.org.uk

Live streaming Mass at St Mary’s: The 10am Mass on Sundays will be streamed for those shielding at home. If you are able to access our Just Giving Money Page so you can be part of the offertory collection, I would be very grateful: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/charities/StMaryFinchleyEast

ALSO on Sunday, Holly and co will stream the children’s liturgy at 9 am even through half-term! All streamed services can be accessed via www.saintmarys.online

Holy Souls Envelopes: Approaching the month of November, I have left in the church Holy Souls envelopes. This year (due to the COVID) please use your own paper to write the names of loved ones safe in God’s Kingdom, place them in the envelope and post through the presbytery letterbox. These names will be displayed on the sanctuary and prayed for during November – the month of Holy Souls.
