Staying warm in church As the cold weather approaches, please remember to wrap up warm when coming to Mass. We must keep the doors and windows open for ventilation due to COVID-19 and, whilst we can have the heating on before, we need to turn it off during Mass to comply with Diocesan advice.

Sick and Retired Priests Collection – Next Weekend Next weekend is the annual collection for sick and retired priests in the Diocese of Westminster. By giving to the Sick & Retired Priests’ Fund, you can ensure our priests are cared for. You can take a donation envelope as you leave Church today, but the envelopes and posters feature a ‘QR Code’ that you can scan with a phone camera to give online, reducing the risks to everyone of handling cash or touching the envelopes. Please continue to pray for all our clergy: active, retired or ill. Thank you.

Father Peter Fr Terry will continue supplying sacramental services at St Mary’s for a little longer while Fr Peter completes his slow but steady recovery. Father Peter thanks everyone for their continued prayers.

First Holy Communions 2021: Registration is currently open for anyone in Year 3 or above who would like to prepare to make their First Holy Communion in May 2021. Please email Holly for a registration form

Holy Souls Envelopes: Approaching the month of November, I have left in the church Holy Souls envelopes. This year (due to the COVID) please use your own paper to write the names of loved ones safe in God’s Kingdom, place them in the envelope and post through the presbytery letterbox. These names will be displayed on the sanctuary and prayed for during November – the month of Holy Souls.

Halloween Fun Walk: This Saturday 2-4pm, spread the word & get your tickets here:

Buy- a Brick: A huge thank you to everyone who has bought a brick (or a family of bricks or a company of bricks). So far, we have raised £4,500 (including gift aid) To buy a brick, please go to OR place your name and donation in an envelope marked “Buy-a-brick” and post through the presbytery door.

Split-the-pot: There will be a draw on Saturday 31st October, watch it here: The “pot” will be back in the church porch from Sunday ready for the following draw (Sat 14 Nov.) A reminder that it’s £5 per entry but you can enter as many times as you like- if it’s easier to put multiple entries into one envelope that’s fine. See the Rise Up and Build leaflet for full details.

70’s disco night in: On Saturday 28th November, 6.30pm7.30pm, St Mary’s will be Live Streaming a 70’s Big-Night-InFundraiser straight to your living room.
