The church is open for Confessions (the Sacrament of Reconciliation) every Saturday morning at 10:00 AM and again before the evening Mass at 4:30 PM. As Advent begins, take this opportunity to prepare your heart. Give yourself the gift of peace, forgiveness, and renewal through this beautiful sacrament. Let Christ’s mercy be the starting point of your journey toward Christmas.

SICK AND RETIRED OF PRIESTS – SECOND COLLECTION – THANK YOU!

Thank you for so generously supporting the Sick and Retired Priests’ Fund collection last weekend.  You raised £917.86.  Our priests give us years of dedicated service and it is only right that, together, we ensure they live out their days with dignity and the care they need.  If you didn’t get a chance to donate, it’s not too late – you can give online at www.rcdow.org.uk/donations.  Thank you again and please keep our sick and retired priests in your prayers.

ANGEL GABRIEL MEDALS

Next Sunday, 30th November, we mark the conclusion of our Jubilee Year — a time of grace, renewal, and thanksgiving. To commemorate this special moment, Fr Peter will be presenting Angel Gabriel medals to every child who attends the 10am Mass. These medals are a symbol of faith, protection, and the joyful message brought by Gabriel — a fitting gift as we prepare to enter Advent.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION – MANDATORY PARENT MEETING

The next mandatory meeting for First Holy Communion parents will take place on Tuesday, 25th November at 7:30 PM in the small hall. We kindly ask each family to bring either some mince pies or a home-baked fruit cake, which will be sold at the Christmas Fête on Saturday.

Please ensure that:

• All homemade bakes are wrapped in foil or placed in a Tupperware container

• A list of ingredients is attached to each item, to help those with allergies

Thank you for your support and generosity!

COMPUTERS & LAPTOPS STILL NEEDED:

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has kindly offered St Mary’s their redundant workplace computers and laptops—we truly do need them. Following this appeal, the SVP (Society of St Vincent de Paul) would also be very grateful for any redundant laptops (with a good battery), iPads, or tablets, as there are several parish families and students who are unable to afford one. If you are able to donate a laptop, computer, or tablet, please speak to Fr Peter. Your generosity is helping bridge the digital divide and making a real difference in our community.
