Your Prayers:

Let us keep in our prayers: Michael O Boy, Lilian Murphy, Arthur Palmer, Michael Medford, Martin Brennan, Father Robert Plourde and Danusia Lissowski – all unwell at this time.

We continue our prayers for all healthcare professionals, care home workers, those working in the community and all those with the coronavirus.

Streamed Masses for this week:

Palm Sunday 10am Mass, Holy Thursday Mass at 8pm, Good Friday at 3pm and the Easter Vigil at 8pm will be streamed for those shielding at home. You can access the streaming service via www.saintmarys.online

Children’s Liturgy:

Holly and her assistants will stream Children’s liturgy this Palm Sunday at 9am via www.saintmarys.online

Finance:

Fr Peter writes: “Thank you to everyone who has either increased their standing orders or arranged for one to replace their “loose plate Sunday offering”. Other ways to financially St Mary’s during the pandemic are on the back page of the newsletter. Please remember that I do not want those of you struggling at this time to feel underobligation to help, only those who might be able to increase their donations. Many many thanks.

Spring Forward……

Please remember that on Sunday 28th March at 1 am, the clocks will go forward one hour. Don’t forget to adjust your clocks!

Outdoor Stations:

Fr Peter writes: “Our outdoor Stations of the Cross are now available for you to use. The First and Second Stations are situated near my front door, the third is in my garden, and you will be able to follow the others outside the hall and the church until you come to the beautiful Crucifix in the car park. During the week I will add some pictures to help children pray the stations with their families. I want to thank Holly and Jim for their wonderful work designing and constructing the Stations.”

Good Friday:

For Good Friday at 3pm you are asked to bring a crucifix to church - one that you have at home is ideal. Those watching the Good Friday service via the streaming service are also requested to have a crucifix with them. By kissing the crucifix we bring from home, we can still venerate the cross on Good Friday without breaking any Covid regulations.

Offertory Collections at the Easter Vigil & Day:

The offertory collection at the Easter Vigil and on Easter Day go towards the salary of the Parish Priest – Many Thanks.
