THANK YOU
A heartfelt thank you to everyone for your generous and thoughtful Christmas gifts. Your kindness is deeply appreciated.
My sincere gratitude also goes to all who served so faithfully over the Christmas liturgies — our servers, readers, musicians, and singers, whose dedication helped make our celebrations prayerful and joyful.
A special word of thanks to our First Holy Communion children, who acted out the Nativity so beautifully at the Christmas Eve Family Mass. Your reverence, enthusiasm, and joy brought the story of Bethlehem to life for the whole parish.
Thank you as well to those who quietly worked behind the scenes: everyone who folded the Orders of Service, prepared the church, arranged flowers, and decorated the sanctuary so beautifully. Your care and hard work made our parish shine with warmth and welcome.
To each of you who contributed in any way, seen or unseen, thank you. Your generosity and service are a true blessing to our parish family.
New Year blessings, Fr Peter.
ALTAR SERVERS MEETING
To help us prepare well for Lent, there will be an Altar Servers’ meeting on Saturday 24th January at 11am in the church. All servers — both new and experienced — are warmly encouraged to attend. If you would like to become an altar server, you are most welcome. You must have made your First Holy Communion and have the permission of your parents. Please speak to Fr Peter if you would like to join the team.
A THRILL OF HOPE

A heartfelt thank you to our some of our Confirmation candidates and to the Sant’Egidio community for hosting such a joyful and generous Christmas Lunch just before Christmas. It was a beautiful expression of Christian service, friendship, and welcome.
We are also deeply grateful to all who donated presents. Your kindness brought real happiness to many people and helped make the celebration truly special.
A special word of thanks to Emanuela, Carmelo, Elvi, and Bernie for their wise supervision, steady encouragement, and the gentle guidance they offered throughout the preparations and on the day itself. Their leadership helped everything run smoothly and with great warmth
This lovely event was a real blessing for our parish community — and I am delighted to say that we will repeat it again next year.
Thank you to everyone who played a part, seen or unseen…………….Fr Peter.
