BAPTISM

If you would like your child to be baptised, please speak to Fr Peter. Ideally, at least one parent should be a baptised Catholic who attends Mass regularly.

SAVE THE DATE – SUNDAY 5th JULY – 11am MASS

Please add to your diaries an invitation to celebrate with Fr Peter on the joyful occasion of his 35th Anniversary of Ordination. We are delighted that Canon Mehall—who will also mark 35 years of Ordination in September and who served as Fr Peter’s Deacon on the day of his ordination—will be joining us for this special moment.

During the celebration, we will also honour our parish children, young adults, and RCIA candidates who have received their First Holy Communions and Confirmations this year. It is a wonderful opportunity to rejoice together as a parish family and give thanks for the many ways God continues to work in our community.

The gathering will be lowkey and relaxed, with a chance to enjoy a piece of cake and spend time together afterwards.

ST MICHAEL’S CATHOLIC GRAMMAR SCHOOL – OPEN EVENING – 24TH JUNE 2026

The Open Evening for Secondary Transfer admission to St Michael’s will be held on Wednesday 24th June 2026.  Guided tours will be held between 5pm and 7pm.  Mr Stimpson, the Headteacher, will make a short presentation at 5 pm and 7 pm.

“If angels could be jealous of men, they would be so for one reason: Holy Communion.”

St. Maximilian Kolbe

This year’s Confirmation Mass will be at 5pm on Saturday 20th June. There will be 23 young adults being confirmed. Please keep them and their families in your prayers.

A MESSAGE TO OUR FIRST HOLY COMMUNION FAMILIES

St Mary’s extends its warmest congratulations to all children receiving their First Holy Communion. We also offer a sincere welcome to their families—those who worship with us regularly, those returning after some time away, and those who join us from different Christian or faith backgrounds.

Your presence enriches our celebration. Your support of your child’s faith is deeply appreciated. Your family is an important part of our parish life.

We hope you feel at home among us and know that you are always welcome at our Sunday Masses and parish events. May this joyful occasion be a moment of grace, renewal, and unity for your whole family.
