FANTASTIC NEWS FROM THE CHRISTMAS BOILER FETE!

The rather stupendous and wonderful news is that the Christmas Boiler Fete raised a staggering £7,459.49. A heartfelt thank‑you to everyone who supported the event — whether you helped organise it or came along on the day. Your generosity and community spirit made this achievement possible.

CHRISTMAS ALTAR SERVERS; READERS AND EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS

If you are an altar server, reader, or Eucharistic Minister and will be here for Christmas, and would like to serve or read at one of the Christmas liturgies, please add your name to the sign‑up sheet at the back of the church. Fr Peter will be in touch with you very soon.

A GIFT OF PEACE THIS CHRISTMAS

Fr Peter writes: Amid the rush of Christmas parties and shopping, it’s easy to forget that forgiveness is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves.

Fr Dennis, a visiting priest and I will be in the church on Wednesday from 7:30pm to 8:30pm to hear confessions and offer the gift of peace.

A THRILL OF HOPE

As Advent begins, our parish—together with the Community of Sant ’Egidio—launches a special initiative: “A Thrill of Hope”, led by our Confirmation students & Secondary School Aged Pupils.

How to Take Part

The Christmas Giving Tree will be in church at all Masses, with cards listing affordable gifts or essentials for those less fortunate. Students are asked to take a card, purchase the item, and return it under the tree in its original bag ……..no later than Thursday!

Then come and wrap the presents this Thursday at 7:30 PM (small hall)

A Christmas Party with lunch and the giving out of presents will take place on Sunday, December 21st after the 11am Mass.

The Sant Egidio community with Students and pupils will host lunch (which will be provided) and give out the presents!

We encourage all families to support their children in this campaign, so together we can make this Christmas truly meaningful.

Can you……

If you know someone who may be spending Christmas on their own this year and would appreciate a home‑cooked festive meal and some friendly company, please let them know about our Christmas Party on Sunday, 21st December.

Everyone is welcome — the more the merrier!
