“BEHOLD YOUR MOTHER”
……is a journey we will embark on together as a parish Faith Group - an invitation to come closer to Mary and, through her, closer to Jesus. In our faith group, we’ll step beyond the familiar statues and prayers and meet the woman who trusted God enough to say “yes” without knowing where that yes would lead; the mother who carried Jesus, rejoiced with Him, suffered with Him, and never left His side. We’ll explore her faith, her courage, her sorrows, her role as the New Eve and Mother of the Church, and what it means to place our own lives into her hands. Whether Mary has always held a special place in your heart, or you’ve never really understood why she matters so much to our church, come with your curiosity and an open heart. Perhaps, as we draw closer to the Mother, we’ll discover that she has been quietly leading us all along - straight to the heart of her Son. All are very welcome to join us. We’ll be meeting every Monday in the small hall at 7:30 PM starting on September 21st.
SPECIAL MASS IN HONOUR OF SR AVIS BALDWIN RIP:

MONDAY’S 10AM MASS

NEW ANNUAL DIOCESAN PARISH COUNT
Beginning next Sunday and continuing for the following three weekends, the Diocese will conduct its annual count of Mass attendance. Everyone attending Mass will be included in the count.
These figures are important because they help the Diocese understand patterns of worship, plan future pastoral provision, and inform decisions regarding clergy appointments and numbers across the Diocese.
With a new Archbishop now leading the Diocese, and with the possibility that parishes may be paired together in the future, it is especially important that St Mary's provides figures that accurately reflect the true vitality and size of our parish community. At this time of year, some families find that Sunday sports fixtures, drama clubs, and other activities can compete with Mass attendance. If you are able, please make every effort to attend Mass during the counting period so that our parish is represented as accurately as possible.
Thank you for helping ensure that the Diocese receives a true picture of the life of St Mary's Parish.
CAFOD THIRD WORLD DEBT PETITION
Low income countries are being forced into a deepening debt crisis. Money that should be spent on food, health care and education is being diverted to repay crippling debt. Please sign the petition at the back of the church to urge the UK Government who will be chairing next year's G20 to rectify this injustice.
